Hardfacing of journal surface
The surface of the journal is overlaid by manual arc welding, and then it is cut to achieve the original design of the journal size. In order to prevent the eccentric shaft from bending and deformation, the welding process should be selected correctly. The welding rod should be selected reasonably, the diameter of the welding rod should be small, and the current intensity should not be too high. The reasonable centering datum should be selected to maintain the running accuracy after assembly.
Journal bushing
Turn the worn journal smooth, and make another steel sleeve. The inner hole of the steel sleeve and the journal shall be interference fit (S7 / H6), and the outer diameter shall be processed according to the original design dimension and tolerance. The steel sleeve shall be hot fitted to the journal. The thickness of the steel sleeve shall meet the requirements of D-D > b, D is the outer diameter of the steel sleeve, D is the diameter of the journal, and B is the thickness of the bearing at the journal fitting (thickness of the copper pad or Babbitt alloy).
Smooth the worn Journal
On the premise of ensuring the designed surface roughness, the bearing is processed with a small amount of processing, and then the bearing is prepared according to the original design matching performance based on the processed journal size and its deviation.
